We’d love to hear from you and welcome you to Highbury Orchard!

Inside the park

As you approach the Orchard by new Kings Heath Train Station or Highbury Park Car Park, your journey unfolds through a musical labyrinth and along Chestnut Avenue till you reach the bottom of the Orchard track.

Visitors can meander past the serene duck pond and wetlands, or admire Highbury Hall’s Venetian Gothic beauty.

For the quickest root in, slip down off Queensbridge road and past the impactful Crucible Wall, known locally as the Angry wall dividing Chamberlain’s land from our Cadbury Uffculme neighbours.

Each route offers delightful sensory experiences waiting to be discovered!

By Bus

From Birmingham city centre, take the National Express West Midlands bus 45 or 47 towards Cotteridge/Longbridge or 50 towards Kings Heath.

Get off at the Dads Lane stop.

Cross the road and enter Highbury Park — follow the footpath towards the community garden area and you’ll spot the orchard entrance.

By Car

We have a car park in the Highbury Park grounds, accessible from the Dads Lane and Shutlock Lane entrance.

Free parking is available at the Highbury Park car park. It’s a short walk to the Orchard from there.

By Train

The nearest station is Bournville (on the Cross City Line from Birmingham New Street).

From the station, it’s about a 20-minute walk or a short bus ride.

Follow signs towards Pershore Road and head towards Highbury Park — the orchard is tucked just behind it.

By Foot

From Kings Heath High Street, enter Highbury Park via the Alcester Road entrance.

Follow the main path downhill until you see signs for Highbury Orchard Community
